UCR Financial Aid 101 Workshop

The UCR Financial Aid 101 Workshop will guide newly admitted undergraduate students and their families through the next stages in the financial aid process once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Application has been submitted. Our financial aid experts will help you navigate R'Web to locate and understand your financial aid offer line by line.
We will also explore:
What is considered a special circumstance and the best way to present this information to the financial aid office?
What steps are needed to maintain your aid, what could cause your aid to change, and how to successfully receive a timely financial aid offer every year?
Services that the financial aid office provides, both online and in person, as well as explain how other departments are involved in overseeing your finances.
After a formal presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to ask their questions and to engage in interactive dialogue with the Financial Aid staff.
Parking for the event will be available free of charge. Registration check-in will begin at 9:30am.
