Event description
The UConn School of Engineering's NSBE and SHPE Chapters will be hosting a free Virtual Collegiate Panel for 9th-12th grade students.

About this Event

Hello All High School Students!

Want to learn more about how to get to college, or what college is like?

Join us as we talk about different college and high school experiences with our National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers(SHPE) panelists during this free virtual event.

NSBE is a national student lead organization whose mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

Similarly, SHPE is a national organization that aims to empower the Hispanic community to realize its full potential and impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development.

During this panel, we will have a chance to ask our questions about these experiences and gain insight into different possibilities and pathways that you may have in high school and beyond. There will be two separate sessions with different panelists and questions.

Session 1- 5:00pm to 5:45pm

Session 2- 5:50 pm to 6:30pm

We'll also give you helpful tools that you can start using today! We want you to thrive and fly high with us.

Have a question for the panelist right now? Feel free to fill out the NSBE x SHPE Collegiate Panel Questions Form to get your question featured during the panel!
