On Friday, October 6th, UConn Early College Experience and the UConn U.S. History (1501/1502) faculty invite all certified UConn ECE U.S. History instructors to attend the annual professional development workshop.

Agenda:

8:45-9:00 Registration and Continental Breakfast (provided)

9:00-9:30 Welcome by Early College Experience Program Director, Brian Boecherer and U.S. History Faculty Coordinator Prof. Matthew McKenzie

9:30-10:45 Session 1: ECE History is not AP History [Review of Prof. Sheri Olson’s writings]

10:45- 11:00 Break

11:00 - 12:15 Session 2: Library Resources Available to ECE Instructors, Donovan Reinwald, Babbidge Library Staff

12:15 - 12:45 Lunch (provided)

12:45 – 2:00 Administrative Issues and Feedback and Q&A with ECE Staff
