Statement of Need

This discourse is being held for UCI and community physicians to increase knowledge and give updated information on the Surgical Management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.

Target Audience

The target audience for this session is gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, ENT's and General Surgeons.

 

Objective

Participants, upon completion of this activity, should be able to describe indications for surgical intervention for GERD, discuss surgical options, and describe the long-term benefits of surgical management of GERD.
