Prior to this UCAPP Workshop, all participants must:

  • Visit the UCAPP Workshops webpage to choose and download one of two case studies we developed to illustrate a typical public elementary school ("Neag Elementary School") and high school ("Neag High School") in Connecticut (FYI... the case study you choose will become the basis for many of our UCAPP Workshop activities this year).

UCAPP Workshop seats are open only to the University of Connecticut Administrator Preparation Program's aspiring educational leaders.

UCAPP Workshops are designed to offer an extension of courses and internship opportunities based on various key topics that challenge school leaders. All UCAPP Workshops are optional and participation may count toward the internship. Each UCAPP Workshop is designed to be an engaging, hands-on adult learning experience that utilizes authentic case studies, data, artifacts, and simulations.
