Event description

Description

The UC Berkeley Financial Literacy and Economic Justice Conference (Flejcon) is an annual, student-organized event drawing together faculty, administrative offices, community partners and student leaders in facilitating financial literacy workshops and social justice performances for the greater student body. The conference aims to provide financial literacy training and knowledge of economic disparities for students where, currently, there are very few opportunities to develop financial literacy skills and knowledge on campus.

Admission is FREE ($10 initial fee to be refunded after the conference) and attendees may select from workshops that include topics varying from salary negotiation to planning for retirement to reading the stock market. Alumni are also welcome to attend.
