Description

Shankar Vedantam is a science correspondent with National Public Radio, host of the podcast "Hidden Brain" and author of the 2010 book of the same name. Vedantam’s work focuses on unconscious prejudice and how it affects everything from how people fall in love to how nations go to war.

Tickets are required but free. Seating is limited, so please register for a ticket ahead of time and get there early. All tickets not checked in by 5:45 p.m. will be released for general admission.

There will be signed books available for sale at the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can bring either your printed ticket or the receipt on your mobile device so that we can scan it at the door before the lecture.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, you may give your ticket to someone else, but they will need to bring it to the event.

Is it OK if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, we will scan the ticket regardless of the name on it.
