1 - 3 pm | Performing an IT Risk Assessment

Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Alabama at Birmingham
This program will cover the necessity of performing an IT risk assessment in the broader internal or external audit context. From there, the presenter will walk through a framework for identifying key IT areas withing the audit universe and provide a step-by-step methodology for identifying key IT risk areas, as well as prioritizing each for audit follow-up.
