The TypeOneNation Summit is JDRF’s signature educational event for people with type 1 diabetes (T1D), their families and friends. Join other individuals, families and caregivers affected by T1D at all life stages, for a day of education, inspiration and connection. Talk to experts about research advances, meet with other attendees to exchange ideas and participate in discussions important to you.
Our breakout speakers include healthcare professionals and experts in the T1D arena who will be on hand to share about meal planning, fine tuning diabetes care, excercise, type 2 drugs for people living with T1D, taking T1D to school, research updates, T1D technology advances, the emotional aspects of living with T1D and much, much more.
We will have a day planned for children ages 5-10 and teens ages 11-16. A young adult panel will be held for the teens and an Alternate Caregiver Panel for those who care for someone living with T1D, such as grandparents, siblings, spouces or sitters.

Filled with our vendor partners, this area will provide a great opportunity to meet with our local industry sponsors, and learn about the newest in technology and resources for those living with T1D. We will also have opportunities to win prize drawings, and come to the Walk Rally station to sign up your walk team.
