What is Type Thursday PHX, Anyway?

It is a fun meetup for people who love learning and sharing their typography work, challenges, and experiences. Our presenters showcase their work-in-progress creative projects, and our Dialogue Lead opens the floor for feedback from the audience. Every person in the audience is welcome and encouraged to provide feedback, regardless of their level of experience.

What's the purpose of Type Thursday PHX?

Our mission is to help you learn and grow by providing a space for everyone to engage in creative and constructive dialogue. Ignite your passion, get inspired, and gain new insights by engaging in the educational dialogue during our TypeCrit sessions.

Will there be drinks or food?

Yes! Dialog has a wide variety of selections for purchase. Single-origin coffees, ceremonial-grade matcha, and organic loose-leaf tea. Plus, locally made pastries and grab-and-go provisions created to inspire and engage. They even have mocktails and ready-to-drink selections that you'll love.

Is there parking?

Yes! ACE / Ten‑0‑One Garage, large indoor garage located at 1st St & Roosevelt with about 200–350 covered spots. Street Parking & Surface Lots, metered street parking is available directly around the venue. Public Transit, Central & Roosevelt Valley Metro Rail station is just a 5-minute walk away.
