See how it works:

How do I submit work for review at the event?

Bring your work-in-progress typographic or lettering projects. Anything where type designers and educators can help you. Bring concept work, roughs, and proofs to share and discuss with attendees. Our critique lead, Anastasios Maragiannis, will help you get feedback.

Some examples:
• UI: an App or Website that is typographic in nature.
• Lettering: many sketches and directions for a lettering assignment.
• Typeface: type proofs showcasing large renders of the letters, spacing proofs, text settings of the type.

Submit a pdf of your work securely online for the Type Crit. and it will be ready for you to show at the event. Your work will be projected onto the screen so the group can share their tips to help improve your work!

Please complete this form to submit work to TypeThursday LON:

Am I required to show work?

Not at all! You’re welcome to come and learn. We do encourage participating in the critiques and asking questions that would benefit the presenters and the community.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements?

Anyone over 16 is welcome to attend. Our event takes place in a licensed bar and alcohol will not be served to under 18's.

How do I get to the venue?

The nearest tube is Angel, about 5 minutes walk to the venue.

The venue is also close to many major bus routes 38 bus or 341 bus or 19 bus to St John Street / Goswell Road.

How can I contact the organiser?

Please email with any questions.

What if I can't make it?

If you can't make it then please email us at as we have a very limited number of places available and we would like to be able to offer your seat to someone else.

Who will be there?

You'll mingle with designers, business people and educators who want to learn more about you.
