Event description
Type Media Center's Puffin Prize for Creative Citizenship Event

About this event

Join Type Media Center on Thursday, March 3rd for a virtual celebration honoring the National Network of Abortion Funds, the 2021 recipient of the prestigious Puffin Prize for Creative Citizenship.

The evening will recognize the National Network of Abortion Funds, an inspirational collective dedicated to protecting abortion access. With the threats to reproductive rights intensifying daily, the tangible support NNAF provides to ensure abortion access is invaluable.

Each year this event provides an opportunity to come together with leading writers, thinkers, and fearless journalists who are on the front lines of defending truth in our country. We look forward to having you join us!

About the Puffin Prize for Creative Citizenship

The Puffin Foundation Ltd. and Type Media Center are the mutual sponsors of an annual $100,000 award given to an individual who has challenged the status quo through courageous, distinctive, and socially responsible work. The prize is intended to encourage the recipients to continue their work, and previous winners have included Colin Kaepernick, Amy Goodman, the Sunrise Movement, and the Parkland students who founded March for Our Lives.
