Description
Txakoli FEST!
Txakoli (pronounced [cha-ko-lee] or Chacolí ) is a slightly sparkling, very dry white wine with high acidity and low alcohol content produced in the Spanish provinces of the Basque Country, Cantabria and northern Burgos. It’s made from the equally easy to say grapes of Hondarribi Zuri, Munemahatsa and Hondarribi Beltza. Yeah, whatever.
Here’s what matters - The Blue Room, BELLY wine bar and Central Bottle are pleased to announce our first ever collaboration (Central Bottle is popping-up at The Blue Room + BELLY) to bring the Boston/Cambridge wine masses a fantastically fun food + wine event - Txakoli Fest!
We hope to fill our lush outdoor patio with thirsty and hungry souls looking to have at least 5 different txakoli and lots and lots of pig, octopus, sardines and tortilla. You can meander indoors too, but with the wood-burning grills fired up, twinkly lights, people porroning from the balconies – who wants to stay indoors?
Most important thing to remember – get tickets!
$45 is for ALL food + Txakoli.
Come one, come all! ¡Ándele!
** RAIN or SHINE.. will be held in BELLY wine bar if we have a rain situation..
** this is a ticketed event - a limited number of tickets will be available day of, at the door for $60pp. **
