Event description
At this special event, community member and Holocaust survivor Rose Schindler will discuss her life and new book, Two Who Survived.

About this Event

There are those among us who have personal histories beyond comprehension, who have persevered despite the most challenging--and horrific--of circumstances.

Community member Rose Schindler and her late husband, Max, miraculously survived the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp and then created a new life in the United States. They moved to San Diego in the late 1950s and raised a family here, near Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP).

The Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) Foundation will welcome Rose Schindler to hear how she and her husband overcame the odds to become two who survived.

There are two lectures scheduled, on February 18 and March 1. Please note that the February 18 event is nearly sold out and this is the registration link for the Sunday, March 1 event.

Copies of Two Who Survived will be available for purchase at the event. If you would like a pre-signed book(s), please email Janet Gavaldon at the MTRP Foundation the number of copies you would like reserved: jgavaldon@mtrp.org. Signed paperbacks are $20 and signed hardcovers are $25; there is an additional $1 charge for credit card purchases.
