Description

This summer, Outer East Arthouse presents “Two Scottish Tales: The Princess and the Goblin, and Shakespeare’s "Macbeth”. Each of these two one-act adaptations of classic stories run in true repertory style! Each day, audiences will have an opportunity to see one or both of these thrilling plays on the OEA’s outdoor stage at Eastridge Church. Directed by Ben Tissell.

TICKET INFO:

All showings of "The Princess and the Goblin" are at 6p. All showings of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" are at 9pm. Tickets are $10 for one show, or $16 for both.

About “The Princess and the Goblin"

Based on the book by George MacDonald, “The Princess and the Goblin” is one of the most beloved children’s fantasy stories of all time. Join Princess Irene and her friend Curdie, on their exciting adventure to goblin country in the heart of the mountains. Adapted for today’s children, this show is fun, fast-paced, family-friendly and full of magic! Adapted by Rommie Christiansen.


About Shakespeare’s “Macbeth"

One of Shakespeare’s most beloved and thrilling plays, “Macbeth” is perhaps the world’s most famous story of a political coup. Reminding us of the dangers of deceit, ambition, and giving in to evil, this 50-minute adaptation packs a punch. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Adapted by Greg Harris.


About Outer East Arthouse

OEA is an arts organization dedicated to providing quality theatre, music, creative writing, and visual art experiences to the Clackamas community. While religiously affiliated, OEA is not an exclusively religious organization and exists for the enrichment of all, working to create art which appeals to people of all backgrounds.
