About Justin Kan:
Justin has founded and is the source of several leading edge companies, including: Kiko, the first AJAX web calendar; Justin.tv, a live video streaming platform; Socialcam, a mobile video sharing app (acquired for $60mm by Autodesk in 2012); Twitch, a video game streaming platform (acquired for $970mm by Amazon in 2014); and Exec, an on demand home cleaning service (acquired by Handybook in 2014).
In addition, Justin Kan is a prolific angel investor who has personally backed more than 60 startups, including Cruise Automation, which sold to GM for more than $1 billion.
Recently he founded Whale, a video Q&A app and Zero-F, a vehicle for building new startup ideas.
In a Tech Crunch article about starting Zero-F, Kan said, “Early-stage startups are all about the founders and team. I want to partner with people who are hungry and have the raw skills to build the app and get it out there.”

At this discussion, Justin will be having a relaxed and intimate conversation with attendees during which he will speak to his personal successes, failures and lessons learned as well as share five pragmatic action points that founders can take to achieve hypergrowth and reach beyond their goals.
6:30 - 7pm - Moderated Q&A with Justin Kan
Attendees will be able to ask Justin questions and recieve guidance from the perspective of one of Silicon Valley's best success stories.
