About this Event
Join us on January 19 and learn how to knit cables with Marly Bird! This two-hour class is the perfect course for anyone looking to learn how to knit cables. Brush up on your technique, build your confidence, or try a brand new knitting technique.
Knitted cables and braids make some of the prettiest and most complex looking knitted stitch patterns. The secret? They’re easier than they look. You’ll learn basics of a cable stitch while knitting samples that can be turned into a hat or scarf. You’ll leave with the confidence and understanding of the importance of gauge, how to create cables with and without a cable needle, how to read cable charts, and how to fix a mistake.
