TWIRL IN THE PARK - A Movement and Rifle Color Guard Spin Clinic
Color Guard enthusiasts of all levels, are invited to an outdoor movement & rifle spin clinic led by the staff of Royal Guard Winter Guard.

Join us for a Twirl in the Park!
The Royal Guard Winter Color Guard Staff will lead attendees through four hours of color guard fun at Lions Park in New Brighton, MN. This spin clinic will focus on movement, dance and rifle for all levels, including beginners. Attendance is open to all color guard enthusiasts ages 14+.
Participants will learn movement/dance & rifle equipment technique as well as a choreographed piece to music. Attendees should bring their own rifle to use for this event as we will have a limited number available as backups. You are encouraged to borrow or purchase a rifle if you do not have one. Contact us at rgpa.mn@gmail.com for vendor recommendations if needed.
All participants will receive an official Royal Guard Face Mask at check-in.
How To Prepare For the Day:
- This is an outdoor event - Please plan accordingly
- Face mask are to be worn
- Social distancing guidelines will be followed
- Wear athletic, breathable clothing (No jeans)
- Wear athletic shoes (No Crocs, flip-flops, etc.)
- Bring your own water and snack if needed
- Bring hand sanitizer & wipes
- Bring your own rifle
- Do not attend if you have temperature of do not feel well

- Tickets may be purchased online until 11:00 am on Saturday, September 25, 2020.
- Walk-Up Registrations are discouraged ($20 Registration Fee for Walk-Ups)
- Equipment cannot be shared at event
- Dress appropriately for the weather
- Parking is free
- Event Check-In will begin at 11:30am on the day of the event
Event Location Details/Directions:
Lions Park is a smaller city park, located inside of Long Lake Regional Park (most known for Long Lake Beach). Pull up directions to Long Lake Regional Park (1500 Old Hwy 8, New Brighton, MN 55112).
You will take I-35W to Hwy 96 and go West. Take a left on Old Hwy 8 NW (going south). After about 3 blocks, the entrance to Long Lake Regional Park will be on your right. Enter the park. After entering the park, take the first left at the big blue playground. We will be on the Soccer/LaCrosse Field.
