Event description

Description

The Twin Tiers International Film Festival is dedicated to bringing high quality independent films from across the world to be screened in a 3 day event filled with things to do for everyone.

Professor Alex Mendez Giner of Syracuse University will host a cinematography workshop opening day, Friday, September 7th. Whether you're a filmmaking beginner or have years of experience this workshop will enlighten, challenge and enhance your knowledge and skills in the art of cinematography.

On Saturday, September 8th, Media Arts Professor Jack Bryant of Ithaca College will host a screenwriter's workshop. The workshop will be invaluable to new writers and yet challenge even the most experience writers, helping everyone hone the craft of professional screenwriting.

Actor Jon Donahue will meet and greet with the audience Sunday, September 9th, and then host our closing night award ceremony. Jon has played roles in major motion pictures such as "Inferno", "Bridge of Spies" and "The Post". Come and meet Jon as he discusses his career and signs autographs!

Come and enjoy over 50 independent films, enjoy our professional workshops, ask your questions to the filmmakers in audience talkbacks, enjoy discounted admission (with festival pass) at the Northeast Classic Car Museum and join us at our official after-party for an all-you-can-eat buffet (additional charge at restaurant)!

Visit our official website for all the festival details. A film and event schedule will be released in August prior to the event for your planning purposes.
