Building a Partnership to Preserve the Family and Corporate History of Hormel Foods
Join us for a trip into MN history as we travel to Austin, MN to learn about the family and corporate story of Hormel Foods. Not only will we get to learn about Hormel's records management program, but we will also be touring both the new Spam Museum and Hormel Historic Home. Please note that this is a daylong event and we will be traveling to Austin on a charter bus. We will be boarding the bus at 9:00 am sharp in the Ricoh parking lot located at 2740 American Blvd W., Bloomington MN 55431. Please arrive a few minutes early to make sure we depart on-time. There is only 56 seats on the bus, however carpoolers welcome.
Dyness Nordrum is the Supervisor of Records and Information Management at Hormel Foods. She has twenty-one years of records management experience working in various industries, including chemicals and coatings, utilities, and food production. She has a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree with a Major in Information Management from the University of North Dakota.
She is a Certified Records Manager, a Certified Information Professional, and a Certified Document Imaging Architech+. She has served on the Twin Cities ARMA board of directors in the capacity of Programming Chair, President-Elect, President, and is the current Board Chair.
Cancellations must be received no later than noon on the TUESDAY before the meeting. If you cancel prior to that time, you will be issued a full refund. No shows and cancellations received after the noon deadline will be required to pay the full registration amount. The Chapter incurs a cost for the venue and food based on the number of reservations. Twin Cities Chapter members may transfer their meeting registration to another individual at any time.
