Long Term Records Preservation and Office 365

About this Event

Long Term Records Preservation and Office 365

Long-term records preservation is a requirement for many organizations in the world although most have yet to take effective action to address the challenges of protecting information through technology cycles. Most organizations that have implemented solutions have opted to move their content into a long-term repository leveraging standards established in Europe and North America. Office 365 is establishing a dominant position for the in-place governance of emails, documents and list items in the Microsoft Cloud, often including long-term information by default. How should organizations reconcile the requirements of long-term records and information preservation and the in-place governance that Microsoft recommends?

This session will explore how innovations in the Public Clouds are changing the rules and opportunities for long-term records preservation.
