Seton Harvest, a community supported agriculture initiative sponsored by the Daughters of Charity is hosting three Twilight Dinners on Saturday May 21, Saturday July 23, & October 15, 2016. The Twilight Dinners will take place on the farm at Seton Harvest on the West side of Evansville. The Twilight Dinner, under our Education Shelter, will feature a sit down Farm-to-Table dinner, beverages from Tin Man Brewing Company, wine from a local winery, and coffee from T.J Roasters. Dinner will be prepared by April Boeke from Culinary Innovations.
The atmosphere on the farm at twilight is absolutely magical with the addition of white lights, natural centerpieces and trimmings and soft music.
All proceeds from the Twilight dinner go directly toward the farm's food shares for the poor in the form of fresh produce to the pantry systems, food banks, and homelss shelters. This produce for families living in poverty weighed in over 12,000 pounds last season, bringing our total donations to 94,000 pounds in 10 years.
