Brookline Access Television is excited to host “Tweet This,” an event on April 3rd, 2013 at 6pm, at which social media experts from the Boston area will explain the advantages of Twitter and web presence for both personal and business use. “Tweet This” will discuss the power of Twitter as a promotional tool and how it can increase volume and recognition of your business or organization, as well as how it can spread awareness about the topics you care about.

“Tweet This” will feature two expert panels. The first panel, “Serving the Public,” begins at 6:30pm and will discuss how to stay in touch with community happenings and how to contribute to online conversation and share information more effectively. Panelists include Boston Tweet, The Brookline Tab, The Warren Group, The Governor’s Office Communications Director, and the Cambridge Police Department.
Experts part of the second panel, “Promote and Grow,” will discuss how social media is a critical part of marketing and how Twitter can increase interaction with community and clients. Panelists include 90+ Cellars, Urban Grape, Brookline Booksmith, Boloco, and Boston Tweet.
More about BATV: Since our founding in 1984, BATV administers airtime on the Brookline public access channels and provides Brookline resident and non-resident members access to its facilities and special events such as “Tweet This.” In addition, BATV offers guidance on program development and technical training on field and studio equipment. Our facilities provide a regular forum for community members to educate and inform the community about issues and events of local, national, and global importance. BATV also accepts program proposals to cover on-location events of importance to the Brookline community.
