This event discusses the rapid adoption and use of generative AI among students and educators, ethical considerations and effectiveness of AI in educational contexts, and broader societal implications of AI in shaping the future of learning and work.

Event 2: Healthy Ageing: Physical and Mental Wellness

This event explores the science of healthy ageing and aligns with the Science Week 2025 theme. It addresses a critical but often underrepresented topic in science communication: health and wellbeing at advanced ages. Focusing on the science of physical and mental wellbeing across the lifespan, psychological factors such as loneliness, grief, and stigma and practical insights into healthy ageing, supported by local and international research.
