Turnstyle, the underground marketplace below Columbus Circle, accessible via any entrance on 57th and 58th Streets and Eighth Avenue, is hosting a live music series throughout February, with critically-acclaimed jazz, contemporary, classical and pop music artists to entertain the lunch crowds, after-work commuters, shoppers and pre-theater diners. Starting February 1, 2017, four separate solo artists and ensembles will provide mellifluous backgrounds for the lively retail and shopping corridor.
Currently scheduled, are:
- Trombonist Mariel Bildstein & her Trio, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Guitarist Guy Daniels, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesdays
- “Cajun Cellist” Sean Grissom, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesdays
- Ensemble Sepia Network, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays
