The Turning Passion into Action: Seeds for Sustainability mini-conference is designed for non-profit professionals who are looking to increase their skills and capacity in organizational growth, program development, and grant writing. During this conference, you will have an opportunity to look deep inside the world of nonprofits while accessing the strategies, tips, and tools necessary to successfully sustain your organization. This conference offers a dynamic selection of nonprofit success and sustainability topics delivered by experts in the field. The interactive sessions will ensure attendees are prepared to start implementing new knowledge and skills immediately.

The conference will include 3 sessions.

Session One: Nonprofit Success

Nonprofit Success Strategist, Ty Boone will provide tips and strategies for nonprofit startup, growth, funding plans, and board development. Ty is the know-it-all of nonprofits. You won't want to miss this.

Session Two: The Fuel for Funding

Join Ronessa Strickland-Roberts, Public Health Consultant and learn how to write successful grant proposals by getting your questions answered, reviewing a real great, and practicing grant writing skills. Get the answers to your questions and demystify grant writing.

Session Three: Program Planning, Design, and Evaluation

Get vital information on how to design your program for success. No program is successful without a clear plan; this includes a plan for how you will measure program success. Melissa Reams, Public Health Consultant, will give you the formula for program development to program sustainability!

Check-in will start at 8:30 a.m. No registrations will be allowed at the door until AFTER the minimum registrations have been met (please look for announcements on Facebook). Ticket purchase is non-refundable UNLESS the event is canceled by the organizer.

This workshop is an approved NCHES (National Commission for Health Education Credentialing) event. You will be provided with the paperwork you'll need to claim up to 12 continuing education credits.
