Young children are expected to test, but hearing "no" can be frustrating and exhausting.  Turning "no" into "yes" requires patience, consistency and creativity.  Learn strategies for positive redirection and limit setting that maintain a positive relationship.  In this class, we will explore discipline techniques that aim to preserve and boost self-esteem and ways to nurture communication and cooperation.

Facilitated by Michele Cunningham

Children's Consortium

Certified Parent Educators at the Children’s Consortium recognize that each child is unique and uniquely special, but that some children require more support than others. We believe in teamwork and collaboration between parents and professionals. We believe that a helped parent is a helped child.

Our programs focus on strengthening the role of parents and caregivers as the first and most important teacher of their own children.
