Join architects Turner Works for an informal breakfast round table at Peckham Levels – a multi-storey car park turned cultural hub that we designed back in 2017. Originally a temporary "meanwhile" project, it’s now a public, cultural destination and a permanent home for local creatives and enterprise.
As we revisit the project to reflect, listen and learn, this session brings together voices from development, education, activism, operations, local government, and design to ask:
What does it take to transform underused spaces into places that truly create opportunities for diverse communities and remain sustainable in the long term?
We’ll keep it informal, inclusive and energising – with good coffee, great people, and space for real reflection.
Followed by a behind the scenes tour of Peckham Levels for those who have time...
Who’s it for?
A cross-sector group of representatives from local authorities, universities, community organisations, activists, F&B and creative operators, and designers – all with a stake in how places are shaped and who they serve.
