Event description

Description

This event will deliver the findings of our study into the impact of memorable songs connected to daily tasks to help those living with cognitive impairment, such as dementia. We have completed our initial research in two care homes in Wales. The event will offer provide a brief summary of this study as well as an opportunity for discussion and networking. Light refreshments will be provided.

Memory Tracks is a project that aims to assist cognition, reduce agitation, improve the quality of life and enable more independent living. The research is supported by funding from CREST (Consortium for Research Excellence, Support and Training). The research team includes academics from University for The Creative Arts, Glyndwr University and Manchester Metropolitan University working with Memory Tracks and Pendine Park Care Organisation.

We hope you will be able to join us on 22nd November.
