Event description

Description

"Every Girl Has A Past, Every Woman Has A Future!"

TUF Words topic July 2017

There are many reasons why people have difficulty saying "no". This month's TUF Words women's support group will explore those reasons, and discuss tools to implement the power of saying "no". We'll explore why saying "no" is healthy and how to implement the power of the "no" in all aspects of your life.

Fellowship with other women and hear inspirational stories of how they've overcome the test and trials of life. Be encouraged by their stories, and become inspired to tell your own. Join our peer support group!

*Sessions are facilitator led. Our guest moderator for this month is Clark Atlanta University Alumna, Magdalene Yonker. Magdalene is a Medical Social Worker and Wellness Program Coordinator at Emory University's School of Medicine on the Grady Hospital campus. She facilitates two monthly women’s support groups, and multiple psycho-educational groups and experiential workshops.

*Handouts and other materials for the group sessions are only given to present participants.

Please feel free to e-mail me for more details: info@tufproject.org

(Note: This support group is open to all women. This event is just used to keep track of those interested, how many are attending, and to raise awareness of the group. Light refreshments served. Childcare is not provided.)
