Your Weekly Unwind: gentle somatic movement and mindfulness meditation to support freedom in movement & mind.

About this event

This nurturing class of somatic movement and meditation invites quiet mind, a deep unwinding and endless discovery. Discover the astounding capacity of your nervous system for somatic releasing, resourcing and re-education. This sensory motor learning process of non-strenuous movement explorations gives the brain the necessary feedback to release muscles from habitual holding patterns (neuromuscular re-patterning). Chronic tension patterns change as the body regains its innate ability to self-correct for ease and efficiency. Jean Hindle is the founder of Soma Yoga & Dance Studio in Seattle. For 28 years, she has enjoyed supporting students in experiencing freedom in mind, motion and creative courageous living through somatics, meditation, Soma Yoga, dance and the arts.
