Hi everyone! My name is Celeste Greene and I'm a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher and Laughter Ambassador from Atlanta, GA, USA.  Come laugh on purpose because laughter feels good and it's good for you.

Joining us with video and audio on is best, but hey, if that's not an option for you just hop on the Zoom meeting and enjoy the laughter.

IS THIS FAMILY FRIENDLY? Yes, and kids are welcome to join for free, but must be supervised.

Celeste Greene is the Director of Laughter Yoga Atlanta and LaughActive. She is an entrepreneur focused on helping individuals and groups achieve their fullest potential and experience more authentic and deeper states of happiness. Her presentations are rooted in the principles positive psychology, happiness, mindfulness and meditation, employee engagement, and organizational culture change. Celeste shares evidence-based strategies that empower individuals to harness their innate and infinite ability to experience joy as a pathway to true transformation. She helps businesses reach their full potential through positive leadership and developing a culture that supports and encourages happiness at work.

A highly sought after speaker, Celeste has presented at TEDx Centennial Park Women and to numerous Fortune 500 clients from a variety of industries, including Cox Communications, Deloitte, and Invesco. Her work has been featured in a number of media outlets, including CNN, Forbes.com, Psychology Today, 11Alive News, and Fox 5 Good Day Atlanta.

For over a decade Celeste has facilitated interactive keynotes enable groups to experience simple, effective and scientifically validated strategies for dissolving stress, developing emotional intelligence, strengthening cohesiveness, and improving performance. Her work motivates audiences to bring out the best in themselves and in those they influence. Her keynotes are not only motivational, but also applicable. Her takeaways are easy to implement and they have a far-reaching impact.

Celeste is warm, funny, engaging, and insightful. Her personality instantly makes everyone feel comfortable and clients praise her for being the highlight of their event and for being able to find joy and happiness in everything. Celeste is not here to motivate and inspire – she is here to create the change in attitude and provide actual tools and strategies to become happier at work, at home, and in our communities.

Celeste entered into this line of work in 2010 after a successful career as a marketing senior account manager. She discovered intentional laughter while searching for a means to bring back the laughter in her own life that had depleted due to work-related stress.

Celeste loves to laugh and to help others laugh. She even performed in weekly shows as an improv comic at Whole World Theatre [LINK] before beginning her career in marketing.

Her extensive work with older adults inspired Celeste to complete her Master of Arts in Gerontology at Georgia State University in 2014. During her tenure at Georgia State University, Celeste developed the LaughActive group exercise program for seniors. The program combines intentional laughter with a dedicated strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility exercise program. Celeste was principal investigator of a rigorous evaluation study elucidating the health benefits of laughter exercise among assisted living residents. Her study was published in The Gerontologist, a prominent peer-reviewed academic journal in the field. Celeste empowers others to facilitate LaughActive through the online LaughActive Exercise Instructor Training Program and Laughter Yoga through in-person Certified Laughter Yoga Leader Training programs. Celeste gives back to her community through a free monthly Laughter Yoga Club that is open to the public.

In 2017, Laughter Yoga International University awarded Celeste the prestigious Laughter Ambassador distinction for her outstanding work in the field. 

Celeste is the Director of Education for Kadampa Meditation Center and manages the center’s educational programs. She teaches meditation classes, workshops, and retreats at the center as well as onsite programs to help corporate groups learn to meditate and implement meditation programs in the workplace.
