Join us for a fun day on the river! Discovery Day is a 2.5 mile paddle trip hosted by Tualatin Riverkeepers to raise awareness of the Tualatin River, its wildlife and the health of the water, environment and people.
Discovery Day starts at Tualatin Riverkeepers River House located at 11675 SW Hazelbrook Road and ends at Tualatin Community Park at 8505 SW Tualatin Road.
Discovery Day sells out every year! Register for a launch time to reserve your space today.
-Rent a boat from Tualatin Riverkeepers or bring your own boat.
-Rental boats include life jackets and paddles.
-Discovery Day is designed for first time paddlers and families with children.
-It's as easy to paddle up the Tualatin River as it is to paddle down, it's moving very slowly.
-Parking will be available near Tualatin River Keepers' Riverhouse.
-Shutttle vans will return you to Riverhouse, the event starting point.
-If you are new to canoeing/kayaking, we are here to help you get started
-Volunteers are available to help keep boats steading at the docks and assist with heavy boats.

Tualatin Riverkeepers (TRK) is a community-based organization working to protect and restore Oregon’s Tualatin River system. TRK builds watershed stewardship through education, public access to nature, restoration and advocacy.
