Event description

Tipperary Dance Platform's TRY! residences:

Tipperary Dance Platform opens a call for the eigth round of the TRY! residences

Apply by 24 February 2018 @ 6pm

Periods of residences: between the 28 May and 30 June 2018

Tipperary Dance Platform's TRY! residences is a scheme for professional dance artists, in support to the development of professional dance in Ireland.

Each TRY! residence offers studio research time for one artist at Tipperary Excel Arts Centre, and opportunities to receive artistic mentoring by Alexandre Iseli & Jazmin Chiodi, artistic directors of Tipperary Dance Platform and Iseli-Chiodi dance company.

TRY! residences will be granted to contemporary dance artists with a professional background, who express a strong motivation to experiment creatively and develop their own dance language.

The selected TRY! residents are not expected to produce finished work. We have a particular interest in the meeting and follow up with artists. Depending on the outcome of the residency, TRY! sometimes leads to an opportunity to perform a public presentation as part of TDP', Tipperary Dance Platform's international dance festival that takes place in October.
