Event description

Description

Trees in winter have so much to tell us! Our focus for this Nature Circle will be on identifying our local trees when the leaves are out of the way… It'll be challenging & fun!

Dress warmly and join us for an hour outside in our parks to learn about forest & tree communities (their behavior, their interaction with one another). Investigate their ecological role & importance to us. Explore the trees in our immediate environment. Learn how to identify trees from shape, needles, buds & bark. We'll also detail few of the species that we see and record them, supplying info to our EwA Citizen Science project.

⚠️ Pre-registration required. Please register for this event to reserve your spot as this is a limited size event. We ask for your email so that we can give you weather updates (and rain or cold dates if needed)

We will meet at 42 Brattle Street (CCAE front yard). We’ll wait for the people who registered and will start moving within 5 minutes after the rendez-vous time.

This circle is free, still we always welcome your donationhttps://tinyurl.com/donate-to-EwA).

Thanks!
