OK it has happened again! Our neighbor and dear friend Robert Greenfield has finished another book and is coming to see us to talk about it! This is cause for celebration!

A writing career that includes a stint as the associate editor with Rolling Stone's London bureau, interviews with Jack Bruce, John Cale, Neil Young, Elton John, Nico, the Rolling Stones, Jackie Lomax, Leon Russell, Stone the Crows, Woody Allen, Germaine Greer and many more. Biographies of Jerry Garcia, Tim Leary, Bill Graham and now Sam Shepard...who collaborated with the Rolling Stones, with Bob Dylan and who had tumultuous relationships with Patti Smith, Joni Mitchell, and Jessica Lange...who could be more suited to write a biography of Sam Shepard than Robert Greenfield!??

We are so very grateful to Robert for coming down to the Library. An opportunity to meet and hear Robert is rare! JOIN US.

Please do make a reservation we expect this to sell out.

Check back for updates.

About the organizer

The Henry Miller Memorial Library is a public benefit, non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization championing the literary, artistic and cultural contributions of the late writer, artist, and Big Sur resident Henry Miller. The Library tries to do as little as possible since we are in Big Sur a place very well suited for doing nothing. It turns out to be difficult however because Henry Miller is egging us on to promote the things he believes make life worth living like good conversation, freedom of thought, good food, sex and art in all its forms; old, new, weird and varied! Welcome!
