CETA Foundation Presents the 8th Annual True Wealth Symposium
Athletic, Arts, & Entrepreneurship
Former NFL/CFL athlete turned actor, author, speaker, and City of Atlanta Health and Wellness Ambassador, Stevie Baggs Jr., presents the 7th Annual True Wealth Symposium with focus on Athletics, Arts, and Entrepreneurship on June 23rd, 9am-2:00pm (EDT) at the Adamsville Recreation Center (3201 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30311).
The 2018 AAE Symposium will combat the cycle of poor lifestyle choices that threaten the health and wellness of low-income communities in Atlanta and surrounding areas. Children, and parents alike, will experience a day of empowerment through celebrity and athlete mentorship segments, breakout sessions (character development, open mic, financial literacy, health/wellness, determining your success), zumba, yoga, and hands-on activities that promote a healthier lifestyle – mentally, physically, and financially.
This year’s celebrity and athletic mentors include: NBA, NFL, & WNBA Players, Actors, Authors, Musicians & Artists
Baggs, President of the CETA Foundation, says, “We have been able to leverage our initial foundation of previously successful football camps and lifestyle programs to evolve this year’s annual symposium into something that encompasses athletics, the arts and entertainment as a draw to broaden our reach and to greater impact our community. With the city and major influentials on board, we are excited to host another great event.”
Sponsors: City of Atlanta, Fulton Dekalb Hospital Authority, and American Heart Association
