ReCity, a social-impact hub in Durham, NC, is honored to host a screening of Bryan Stevenson’s new documentary, True Justice: Bryan Stevenson’s Fight for Inequality. Stevenson - author of Just Mercy, is an Alabama public interest attorney, founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative, and a life-long advocate for the poor, the incarcerated, and the condemned.

An intimate portrait of this remarkable man, True Justice: Bryan Stevenson’s Fight for Equality follows his struggle to create greater fairness in the justice system and shows how racial injustice emerged, evolved, and continues to threaten the country, challenging viewers to confront it.
