ASSA is offering an evidence based child behavior management program for families who have with children with an autism diagnosis. Stepping Stones is a program offered in partnership with the University of Arizona Pima County Cooperative Extension. The series provides community as well as a specialized set of skills for parents to properly identify behavior problems and challenge their children to reach milestones.
The one-hour virtual classes are held online once a week. Stepping Stones consists of 12 group sessions on Zoom and three individual phone consultations to help parents better understand the causes of behavior problems and how to prevent them.
"I loved how interactive the program is and how it has helped me address behaviors I am seeing in my child right now." Said a parent of the 2020 Triple P program.
Partial funding is provided by ASSA. A participation (non-refundable) fee of $100 per family will be paid upon registration and will cover fifteen weekly training sessions.
