Who: Girls in grades 6 through 8
Cost: FREE, BUT SPACES ARE LIMITED!
Notes: Participants should bring a bag lunch.
9:10am: Depart Annapolis. We will be departing from the Harry S Truman Park & Ride, located at 725 Harry S Truman Pkwy (& Riva Rd), Annapolis, MD 21401. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
9:45am: Arrive at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.
10:00am: History Alive Tour. Participants will experience Baltimore's industrial past with a tour through the Baltimore Museum of Industry led by a museum educator.
11:00am: Bag Lunch. The BMI does not offer meals for sale.
11:30am: Design It!: Balls & Tracks. "Students are given a working design with everyday materials and are tasked with engineering a successful project. Working as engineers in small groups, students are assigned challenges and learn about experimenting, making observations, asking questions, and explaining results." - Baltimore Museum of Industry 2016/17 Guide to Education Programs
12:30pm: Depart the Baltimore Museum of Industry. (Travel time back to the Park & Ride is approximately 30 minutes.)
