Join #TrinityWomenGraduates (TWG) Annual Lunch at Royal St George’s Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire on Saturday 19th November at 12.30pm.
As the first female director and just the fourth person to hold the post in the history of the Gate, Selina truly is breaking barriers.
Selina will touch on the theme of “Celebrating Tradition While Embracing Innovation" and share her thoughts on how that balance has been at play in the personal, academic and professional aspects of her life.
By way of background on our wonderful speaker, Selina took a First in Drama and History of Art from Trinity College, Dublin and Glasgow University and graduated with an MA (Distinction) from Central School of Speech and Drama in Advanced Theatre Directing.
She is currently Artistic Director of the multi-award winning company Siren Productions based in Dublin. In 2007 Selina was protégé to Julie Taymor as part of the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative. Between 2010 and 2011 Selina was Artist-In-Residence at the Samuel Beckett Theatre.
She won the 2014 Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Director for Punk Rock, following previous wins for Titus Andronicus and Medea.
We look forward to welcoming you and your guests on this special occasion.
