"More Fun Than Bowling" by Steven Dietz
Jake Tomlinson is a down on his luck owner of a town's only bowling alley. He has been married three times, but all of his wives have left him in one way or another. His first left him and his daughter, Molly, after Molly turned 10. His second wife, Lois, died when a bowling trophy she was carrying was struck by lightning, and his third wife, Loretta, was killed by a falling bowling rack. Jake spends the play reliving moments from his life with Lois and Loretta, and there is also a mysterious man dressed in all black with a revolver who is waiting for him. Can Jake figure out when his bad luck ends? Find out in this hilarious, heartwarming comedy.

"It's a laugh-out-loud comedy with incredible, well-rounded characters. It's a play that helps to look at your own life and appreciate your passions and loves. While the show is hilarious, it's also quite poignant, and you'd never know how a simple "never too" sport like bowling could teach you about happiness and a stress-free approach to life. Steven Dietz's play does just that." Jake Szafranski, Director
