Friends Who Are Going
Event description

TRIGGER Conversations brings you the third TRIGGER Dinner.

4 food courses. Drinks. And 6 different conversations with 7+ new like-minded friends.

We get it. You're bored of meeting new people and being asked the same, limited and boring question - 'What do you do?'.

- Think you're more than your job?
- Bored of small talk? Want to talk about something new?
- Keen to make meaningful connections with other like-minded people?
- Interested in conversations that expand your perspective and challenge you?

Join us for a TRIGGER Dinner - a menu of alternative conversation with food - canapés, starters, main, dessert and coffee - the depth and length of the questions depends on the course. Ask something unusual. And be honest in your answers. Tell someone what you really think and feel.

We give you the questions. You provide the answers. No prep necessary. Just turn up with an open mind. And an empty stomach.

Do I need to let you know about dietary requirements?

Yes, that would be great. Please email when you have booked.

What is the menu?

All the food will be made from locally sourced and seasonal produce. It will be vibrant, wholeheartedly wholesome, soul-nourishing and utterly scrumptious food...

Who is the Chef?

Kuli Singh - Kuli is a born and bred Londoner, and his passion for food really took off after university, where he had to fend for himself, and didn't have his mother's delicious cooking to hand!

He is a man obsessed with all things comestible. He loves to innovate, often by connecting dots between disparate food cultures, constantly enquiring on how food has shaped our history and the world, and vice versa. There's always food porn to quench his thirst!

Some of his musings and recipes can be found on and these days he is increasingly involved in both helping teach people about food and nutrition, as well as hosting supper clubs to bring people and communities together in London.

Can you give me an example of the types of question?

‘When I was a child, I wanted to be...'
‘Would you like to live more in your body or in your head?’
‘What makes a person a good travelling companion?
‘What is the most beautiful part about being human?’

…And many more (We won’t ruin the surprise!)
