Dear Friends,

On Friday, October 11, 2019, Sahan Arzruni - the acclaimed pianist, entrepreneur, and composer - will perform at the French Embassy to celebrate the 150th birthday of Armenian composer Komitas.

The concert will honor Komitas’ legacy by honoring his musical achievements and contribution to the promotion and preservation of Armenian culture. We will seek to extend the impact of that legacy to today’s Armenia.

Funds raised during the event will be donated to the Vanadzor Old Age Home (https://farusa.org/social-services/vanadzor-old-age-home-voah/), one of Women’s Guild Central Council's programs supported by the Eastern Diocese and administrated by FAR.

The Vanadzor Old Age Home is a unique institution in Armenia designed to support and safeguard the wellbeing of Armenia’s elderly, who despite a difficult life deserve to live out their last days in peace and with dignity.
