TribU: How the Newsrooom Works: Page One Decisions
Tuesday, April 23
Tribune managing editor Jane Hirt and planning editor Cara DiPasquale talk about the decision-making process that builds the front page of the Chicago Tribune each day. In the second half of class, students will select and argue for their own page one content by choosing from a series of real story descriptions presented by Trib Nation manager James Janega.
Time: 6 - 8 p.m.
Location: Tribune Tower, 435 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago
