This class covers Tribal Fusion Bellydance Techniques and Choreographies. In class Grace will lead students through yoga exercises, and isolation and conditioning exercises, to support the dance movements.
This class is designed for Intermediate Dancers and will further the students understanding of Bellydance fundamentals and techniques, while giving them pieces of Choreography to use in practice or performance. Grace specializes in Tribal Fusion Bellydace, and incorporates Yoga, Improvisational Tribal Style, Egyptian, ATS, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, East Indian, and other Dance forms within her classes and movements.
Grace also teaches Bellydance Conditioning 101 every Wednesday morning, 10-11AM!
Grace has been studying the art of Bellydancing for twelve years, she has been teaching for over eight years. Grace is Certified in as an Initiate in the Rachel Brice's 8 Elements training, she is Certified as an ITS teacher through Hot Pot Studio, and she is also Certified as a SEEDs teacher trough Pomegranate Studio. Grace is studying Dance Therapuetics with Deb Rubin at this time, and working on her certification. Grace has also studied with many other amazing teachers, such as Samantha Emanuel, Natalie Nayun, Zoe Jakes, Suheila Salimpour, Jamilla Salimpour, April Rose, and many more.
Graces Bachelor's Degree focuses on Dance Management, and Dance/Movement Therapy. She emphasizes the healing and somatic qualitities of the dance form as well as offering exercises and yoga to help support the movment and improve technique. Grace is passionate about Triabl Fusion Bellydance as an expressive artform, somatic healing technique, and a moving meditation for self empowerment.
