What exactly is front-end web development and why does it matter?

HTML and CSS are the fundamental building blocks of the web. Whether you’re a beginner wanting a little more control over your CMS or a professional programmer trying to make better front-ends for your web-apps, you need to know HTML and CSS to get the job done.

In this trial session, you’ll take a quick dive into the world of coding — exploring elements, tafs, structure, and design — through “code-along” exercises designed to help you get started building simple web pages, while helping you decide if the the full course is right for you.

With over 8 years in working on web and mobile web development, he brings both creativity and experience to the field. He's passionate about team building, and finding the balance between user needs and the needs of his other internal stakeholders. Tim is an outdoorsman, sailor, and snowboarder.
