Triage and Treatment Training
Tue, May 2, 2017, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM PDT
We welcome participants from local clinics, doctor’s offices, urgent care, long term care, nursing homes, medical assistant or nursing programs and other non-emergency facilities.
What if? It is a question that plagues health professionals. When it comes to disasters, how can non-emergency facilities plan for and respond to a natural disaster, a major car accident, an act of violence, or other incident and ensure that it will not overwhelm the emergency response system?
Triage and Treatment Center curriculum, offered through this training from Kitsap Public Health and Region 9 Healthcare Coalition, provides foundational knowledge and emergency response training for personnel not typically equipped for these disasters. The training will build staff response capability to help within their community during emergency situations.
This course is offered at no cost. GoToMeeting will be unavailable for this training since it is an interactive course.
