About this event
Tri-Valley Halloween Con is THIS SUNDAY, Oct. 30, at San Ramon Community Center. The show is open from 10 am to 4 pm with free parking. Kids 9 and under are free.
All things pop culture including toys, collectibles (new and vintage), anime, LEGO, comics, art, jewelry and much more will be featured at this family-friendly show presented by Bay Area Festivals and American Brick Builders.
Featured Guests are Robert Mukes (Rufus Firefly Jr. in House of 1000 Corpses) and Mary Gibbs the voice of beloved Boo in Monsters, Inc. when she was just 5-years-old. Alan Fernandes was one of the two Tusken Raiders in the original Star Wars movie.
Monsters, Inc. is the computer-animated monster comedy film produced in the Bay Area by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures earned a box office gross of over one half billion dollars. Mary was on the red carpet with Monsters, Inc. actors Billy Crystal and John Goodman plus others from the star-studded cast when the film debuted. This year, Mary has starred in a 7-part audio drama podcast Heroes of Extinction.
House of 1000 Corpses is a black comedy horror film by Rob Zombie where the 6-foot, 10-inch "Bonecrusher" Mukes played Rufus Firefly Jr. Mukes has been in dozens of films and TV shows including Drillbit Taylor, Weeds, Westworld, Person of Interest, Criminal Minds and CSI. He's made four movies in the past year alone.
NOTE: Like all our Featured Guests, Mary and Robert enjoy meeting and chatting with their fans. However, the admission ticket price does not include pictures or autographs.
The free, family-friendly Cosplay Costume Contest for attendees will feature cash prizes ($100 for 1st place) for creative costumes in different age groups. Contest registration will be taken during the day with contest judging at 2:30.
New items and collectibles from Disney, Transformers, Funko Pop, LEGO, Pokémon, G.I. Joe, Marvel, DC Comics, Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, Hot Wheels and much more will be available by the variety of exhibitors at the show. Posters, art, prints, t-shirts, hats, apparel, anime, sports cards, books, comics, LEGO, buttons, classic video games, jewelry, games and cards are featured too.

Advance general admission tickets include a $2 Toy Buck with each purchase. That promotion ends at 9 a.m. on Oct. 30.
Online sales continue until the end of Tri-Valley Halloween Con. Door sales begin at 9:45 a.m. at the Community Center on Oct. 30.
Children 9 and under are free. Parking is also free.
Tri-Valley Halloween Con will comply with all Contra Costa County and state regulations to ensure the health and safety of our attendees and exhibitors. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the show. At this time, masks are not required for admission. Everyone who feels more comfortable wearing a face covering is encouraged to do so.
San Ramon Community Center is off Interstate 680 (Bollinger Canyon Rd. exit) at 12501 Alcosta Blvd. in Central Park off Bollinger Canyon Rd.
Mary Gibbs voiced Boo in the popular Monsters, Inc. movie and she is our Featured Guest all day at Tri-Valley Halloween Con. Gibbs was five years old when the film was released and she joined John Goodman and Billy Crystal on the red carpet at the premiere.
