Earth to Table Virtual Wine Dinner Cooking Class presented by Tri-C® Hospitality Mgmt students from the banquet & event planning classes

About this Event

Join us this Earth Day and learn how to cook a locally focused farm-to-table dinner in your own kitchen. You buy the ingredients and wine, and the students will provide you the recipes, wine pairings, cooking demonstration and tips focused on sustainability.

Registration for the event is $20 (free for Tri-C students) and will support scholarships for Tri-C Hospitality Management students. Registration is limited. Register by Monday, April 19. The virtual event link and recipes will be provided via e-mail to those who register.

Menu

Appetizer - Arugula and Strawberry Salad, local honey and lemon vinaigrette paired with local goat cheese and fig spread bruschetta.

Suggested Wine Pairing: A dry pinot grigio with a soft crisp, fruity finish.

Entrée - Chicken Piccata, white wine caper sauce paired with asparagus, spring pea and farro risotto.

Suggested Wine Pairing: A medium-bodied chardonnay with buttery notes.

Dessert (Optional) - **Strawberry Rhubarb Crostata.

Suggested Wine Pairing: A red moscato with a sweet berry or currant finish.

**Instructions provided prior to class. The dessert course will not be demoed during the event.

Consider shopping your local farmer's market and supporting local Ohio or organic wineries!
